Terms of Use (EULA)
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Last Updated: May 30, 2026
These Terms of Use (EULA) ("Terms") govern your use of RedCheck ("RedCheck", "we", "our", or "us"), including the RedCheck mobile application, website, AI features, account, subscription, and support services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
RedCheck provides AI-assisted analysis of user-submitted situations, screenshots, photos, text, voice notes, and related context. The Service may include verdicts, explanations, follow-up chat, daily oracle cards, multilingual library content, notes, folders, profile stats, and subscription features.
RedCheck is intended for informational, entertainment, and self-reflection purposes only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
3. Account and Security
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
You may sign in with email/password, Apple, Google, or other supported authentication methods. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to RedCheck, including text, screenshots, photos, voice recordings, notes, folders, chat messages, and library inputs.
You grant RedCheck a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and create AI outputs from your content as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.
5. AI Limitations and Safety
RedCheck uses automated AI systems. You acknowledge that:
- AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate.
- AI outputs are generated automatically and should not be the sole basis for important decisions.
- RedCheck does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, therapeutic, crisis, or other professional advice.
- If you are in danger, experiencing abuse, or facing a medical or mental health emergency, contact emergency services, a qualified professional, or a trusted local support organization.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or unsafe purposes.
- Submit content involving sexual exploitation of minors, credible threats, instructions for harm, or other prohibited content.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or violate the rights or privacy of others.
- Upload malicious files, attempt to bypass security, scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service.
- Attempt prompt injection, model extraction, abuse of AI systems, or attempt to extract or reverse-engineer system prompts or hidden instructions.
- Use the Service to generate professional advice or to replace a qualified professional.
We may reject, limit, moderate, or remove content or access where we believe these Terms, safety rules, law, or platform requirements are being violated.
7. Subscriptions and Purchases
RedCheck may offer paid features through RedCheck Pro or other subscription plans. Available features, quotas, pricing, trial eligibility, and plan terms are shown in the app before purchase.
- Purchases are processed by the applicable app store and subscription infrastructure provider, including RevenueCat.
- If a plan renews automatically, your app store account may be charged unless you cancel before renewal under the app store rules.
- Free trials, if offered, may convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the app store subscription settings or supported customer-center flows.
- Refunds and billing disputes are handled by the app store unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- Restoring purchases may sync your app store entitlement with your RedCheck account.
8. Apple App Store EULA Terms
For the RedCheck iOS and iPadOS application distributed through the Apple App Store, these Terms are intended to operate as RedCheck's end user license agreement. The agreement is between you and RedCheck only, not Apple, Inc., and RedCheck is solely responsible for the app and its content.
These Terms do not override the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the App Store Usage Rules.
- The app is licensed, not sold. RedCheck grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and App Store Usage Rules, including Family Sharing or volume purchasing where Apple allows it.
- RedCheck, not Apple, is responsible for app maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- To the extent any warranty applies and is not effectively disclaimed, RedCheck is responsible for it. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- RedCheck, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims related to the app or your possession and use of it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, privacy, and intellectual property claims.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app, including terms from Apple, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Supabase, Google, and your device, network, or platform providers.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as supporting terrorism, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government prohibited or restricted-party list.
- Apple, Inc. and Apple, Inc.'s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you after you accept these Terms.
End-user questions, complaints, or claims about the app should be directed to RedCheck through the RedCheck Support Center or at support@redcheck.app.
9. Support, Privacy, and Account Deletion
Privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
You can contact support through the RedCheck Support Center or at support@redcheck.app.
The app includes an account deletion flow in Settings. Deleting your account may not cancel active app store subscriptions; manage subscriptions through the app store as well.
10. Intellectual Property
RedCheck, including its software, branding, interface, design, prompts, systems, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your user content, we and our licensors retain all rights in the Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or by these Terms.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers such as app stores, Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Vercel, and other infrastructure or support providers. Their services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also change features, quotas, prices, models, providers, or supported platforms, subject to applicable law and app store rules.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available in every location.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the Service or users, or used the Service unlawfully.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and reliability.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, RedCheck is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for decisions made based on AI outputs.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating this page or providing an in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to RedCheck and its operator, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
